At Salford City Academy

Salford City Academy is a designated Training School as part of the High Performing Specialist Schools (HPSS) programme.  The TDA is responsible for managing the training school element of the HPSS programme with policy direction from the DCSF.  There are currently 227 training schools across 108 local authorities. 

Salford City Academy Training School is led by the Director of Training School Carol Murray, who is also Assistant Principal Staff Development.  The training School has a dedicated training area in the academy and receives administrative support.
