Twilight Sessions

Each year all the staff at Salford City Academy are asked to attend a designated number of  Twilight Training Sessions.  This training is on various subjects, e.g. child protection / safety, IT training, enrichment, teaching and learning, behaviour for learning and lots of other useful areas for all school staff - not just teachers.  Sometimes there will be a choice of activities to choose from, to suit the job role of the individual.

The training is usually interactive and enjoyable with lots of useful information given out and made available on the school intranet.

Each member of staff is asked to complete an evaluation sheet after the training session, to give Training School staff a chance to see which were the most useful and which could have been improved in some way, and then make the relevant changes for next time, if applicable.

There are also Training Events set up for staff that are optional to staff and these are displayed on the Staff and Training Room Notice Board as "Whats on Weekly".  These events are for staff to  improve their knowledge and working abiltiy, depending on the Title of the Training Event.
