The Training School Team

Salford City Academy is a designated Training School as part of the High Performing Specialist Schools (HPSS) programme.  The Training and Development Agency (TDA) is responsible for managing the training school element of the HPSS programme with policy direction from the DCSF.  There are currently 227 training schools across 108 local authorities.  The Salford City Academy Training School is directed by the Assistant Principal Staff Development, Linda Emmett, who ensures that all training is firmly linked to teaching and learning.

FACILITIES

We have a large designated training room in the academy which seats up to 25 people, equipped with high tech computers and an interactive white board and tea/coffee making facilities.

Training events are catered for by our excellent in-house catering staff with a selection of cold buffet menus.
