Second Wave of Success
Salford City Academy Enjoys 100% A Level Pass Rate Again!
For the second year running Salford City Academy is celebrating a 100% A Level pass rate with each and every one of its students achieving A-E grades results today.
The results from the Sixth Form's second cohort of students, which was 50% higher than the number of students last year, illustrates Salford City Academy's ‘best in everyone' ethos.
Out of 33 students, 23 applied for university places across the country and all received an offer. This is yet another 100% success rate which maintains the same level of results we achieved last year.
Matt Bold, Director of Sixth Form, said:
"These are another set of impressive and significant results for us today, as we have maintained the high standards set by our first cohort last year."
He adds:
"We endeavour to secure a fantastic future for all our students and their success today is well deserved and signifies an exciting next step for them. They are an inspiration to all our students throughout our school and Sixth Form."
This is only the second year of results for the Sixth Form since its opening at Salford City Academy in 2007.
These outstanding results illustrate the impact and effectiveness of Salford City Academy's inclusive, supportive environment and diverse course portfolio.
Matt Bold comments:
"We remain a small college with big ambitions for our students. We nurture individuals by providing the best courses, personal support and enriching opportunities. The success of students completing A Levels, BTEC Nationals and NVQ Level 3 courses in all gaining places at university is testament to the attitude that nothing but the best is acceptable for our students."
