Open Day 2009

Saturday 26 September 2009, 10.00am till 12.00pm

Salford City Academy is hosting an exciting Open Day for prospective pupils and parents this year on Saturday 26 September.  To celebrate being awarded International School Status by the British Council, our Open Day will include a host of live entertainment from around the world:

·         Caribbean Steel Band

·         Irish Piper

·         Latino Salsa Dancing

·         Brazilian Capoeira

·         Oriental Martial Arts

·         Indian Henna Artist

·         Spanish Flamenco Guitar

·         The Country and Western Band

We will also have several other attractions.  Salford City Academy is delighted that World Champion Football Freestyler John Farnworth will be joining us to offer you the chance to learn freestyle soccer tricks and skills; there will be a prize awarded to the best ‘freestyle’ pupil of the day! Alongside John Farnworth you will also be able to enjoy:

·         Falconry and Birds of Prey

·         Soccerade Football Roadshow

·         Golf Simulator

We would be delighted to welcome you to our FREE Open Day; all visitors will receive an ‘International Passport’ to the school which will provide complimentary food and ticket to our raffle.
