English Department

The highly professional English Department staff work collaboratively in a friendly and supportive environment.

The curriculum is designed to enrich students understanding and raise achievement. We also invite professional writers, QCA and AQA examiners to the academy to share their expertise and motivate pupils. The department is very well resourced in terms of written and media texts. 

The Learning Resource Centre is an additional facility that is used on a weekly basis by pupils to borrow books and/or to work on the I.C.T. equipment.
