Welcome to Salford Academy
Salford City Academy is an 11-18 school, which will assist
students in their spiritual, intellectual, creative, physical and
emotional growth. This is developed with a Christian ethos
that pervades all aspects of school life.
All who work in the Academy have self-respect and respect for
others no matter how different they are from ourselves. The
young people of our future will need to be adaptable to the rapid
pace of change in society that will confront them. It is
essential, therefore, that students at the Academy develop the
skills to learn independently. The Academy encourages
students and provides them with the skills to contribute to society
and make the most of chances that are presented to them throughout
their lives. In this way the Academy will create life-long
learners.
