Hair & Beauty Students learn Ear Piercing - 13th December 2010

As part of their Hair and Beauty Diploma the students were given professional instructions on how to carry out ear piercing on clients.   

After listening to the step by step guide, the students practised on each other.The training was very successful. 

Ten beauty therapy students and 3 hair students completed the course.Lisa Anderson, Teacher of Beauty said “The Caflon Ear Piercing Course will be very valuable for the students employability out in the industry.  Caflon is a very well respected Ear Piercing Training Company which is highly regarded in the Hair and Beauty industry.  This training will help with the students confidence, help improve their C.V. and hopefully help them find employment in the future.

As an Applied Learning Project, this was an excellent activity as it meant the students were working together, learning whilst doing and working with professionals. 

The results from the evaluations show that all the students enjoyed this project and all of them rated the activity as ‘Excellent’.
