British Association of Beauty therapy and Cosmetology - 25th November 2009

The Event was a guest speaker from BABTAC the British Association of Beauty therapy and Cosmetology they are the leading professional association for our industry.
 
We were also very honoured to have the Chairperson of the association Angela Bartlett who took time out of her busy schedule to visit the students and talk with them about her experiences and career in beauty therapy
 
They came to present to the students the importance of professionalism the benefits of being in BABTAC and what links they have with the beauty industry.
 
They discussed the importance of being insured and what can happen if as a professional therapist you aren’t insured.
 
The students were given a BABTAC goody bag with a free magazine, a pen, some sweets and information on the association.
 
All students can now register for free membership with the association, this will enable them to go online and download the journal, talk to other professional therapists on a forum and keep up to date with the latest events in the beauty industry
