Academy Ambassadors

Over 40 pupils from the Academy (Years 7 to 11 inclusive) have been appointed to the role of Academy Ambassador. Each applicant had to complete an application form and attend an interview with the Assistant Principal and the Learning and Training Co-ordinator. The successful candidates were invited to a presentation in the main hall where they received an Academy Ambassador badge - to be worn proudly on their blazers

The Ambassadors have been involved in a number of events during the Autumn Term including: welcoming visitors who were attending a meeting; guiding attendees to their meeting room; undertaking guided tours of the Academy for interview candidates and being involved in the interview process for teaching staff appointments.

Their work in the Spring and Summer term will continue and in addition to the tasks above - transition events both here at the Academy and at the Primary Schools will also require the support of the Academy Ambassadors.

The Ambassadors will also be invited to become involved in group work - related to their areas of interest.

Congratulations to all the Ambassadors - they have been a tremendous help to the Academy! Well Done and Thank You!
