Roald Dahl Day Winners 2011

Every year the Academy Library celebrates Roald Dahl Day by running Golden Ticket competitions related to literacy. 

This year we handed out literacy sheets with quizzes, for example, a Roald Dahl book title word search.  Pupils were awarded Merit Tickets over two days before the winners' names were pulled out of a raffle.  The winners received a chocolate treat.

Well done to the eight students who won from Years 7 and 8 and commiserations to the others who took part; better luck next year when we'll have another Roald Dahl Day Challenge!!!

Don't forget all you Roald Dahl fans, we have a selection of his books in the library that you may take out and read.
