Year 10 Volleyball Champions

Internal Filler After only 5 practices the Year 10 boys' volleyball team has entered and won their first ever tournament at Eccles College, competing against six other schools. 

The A team: Jimi Onamusi, Ben Ignatowicz, Curtis Johnson and Kane Harris

The B team: Harrison McMillan, Jordan Cook, Aaron Smith and Lewis Hall.

The draw saw the SCA A team and B team in different pools, with the A team winning all their games whilst the B team drew all of theirs.

These results saw the A and B team face each other in the cross over semi-finals. On paper, the A team should have taken this victory, but the great communication that brought them success in the pool stage broke down and the calm, organised B team took advantage claiming the victory two sets to one!

Great sportsmanship between our teams showed during the final where the A team supported the SCA B team when they took on Wentworth and claimed the victory in two sets making them Salford School Champions!
