Louis Sings for Salford

Louis, Year 9, has recently begun an exciting music project after meeting a music business contact through the Eccles Youth Club he attends.

He was invited to a trial at Underground Studios, a recording studio in Eccles.  He met music managers and sang several tracks. 

The studio showed an interest and Louis has been going regularly to meet yet more contacts and has become involved in producing a CD to showcase young local talent.

The weekly sessions involve writing, singing and mixing new tracks.  As well as producing solo tracks, Louis has been working alongside other new artists.

The aim is to produce an album to send out to music companies to gauge interest in Salford talent.

Louis said: "It's hard to make it in the music business but my ambition is to get myself out there!"
