Roald Dahl Day Winners

Internal Filler On September 13th  our Year 7 pupils participated in Roald Dahl Day.  Their challenge for the day was to invent new confectionary for Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.

Pupils had to decide which ingredients to use to create their sweets and bubble gum.  They then had to write out their recipe and design an advertisement.

It was extremely hard to choose the winner as we had so many good ideas such as jelly that changes the colour of your eyes and chocolate that made you better if you were poorly!

A winner and a runner-up was chosen from each of the  five Project 7 classes. Prizes included bowling, adventure golf and lazer quest tickets. The runner-up prize was chocolate.

The pupils featured in the photograph are Louis Handford and Melissa Raynor from Miss Landon's group.

Well done to all who took part. If Willy Wonka wanted new sweets for his chocolate factory he wouldn't be disappointed with all your ideas.
